Everything about this place made us smile. From the menu, to the staff, to the food. It is one of those places that make a holiday, for us anyway. Couldn't have been friendlier despite our terrible attempts at German. Luckily, they also speak English. Worth the effort to find it. HIGHLY recommend
Good food and good atmosphere. We were there on open mic night and many musicians showed up to play and it was really fun.

The atmosphere of this place is highly reflective of your typical German restaurant. HOWEVER, Gastatte stands out amongst the rest for having the best brat entrees in the area! More so, the staff are friendly and accommodating. The beer is great and the location (albeit somewhat out of the way) is a fitting spot for such a lovely place.
After having visited the restaurant a few times I can say is that this is a cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. It's a bit of a distance compared to the centre of Frankfurt but it's worth it every now and then and not a problem if you have a car. The schnitzel tastes good and I can also recommend the potato puree. The only downside is that you can't pay with card so make sure to bring cash with you.
I give 5 stars because I cannot give 6. Delicious food, satisfied portion, lovely staffs, great dining experience here in Frankfurt ever! Highly recommend!
